Those are the ones that should be the most similar to the ones you listed. Keep in mind you can carry on any champion that you play well, even full tanks.
Please don't suggest Riven x) She is a carry, yes, but she has so many counters which can beat the **** out of her. Riven is more of a situational champion than an actual safe pick, especially for solo-queue. Plus, Riven's mechanics require so much time, effort and skill.
Other than that, I completely agree with the rest of the list. I would add Renekton, since the new items made him so strong and not many current meta-pick can counter his level of early aggression. Plus, the same new items brought his late-game to a whole new level and he doesn't fall off now.
I'm just gonna throw tank ekko out there. His two-second aoe stun can be devastating if used properly in 1v1's or teamfights. Despit building tank, ekko still has a nice execute (his W passive) (i dont know how to insert things, sadly), his passive and q make him very sticky, and his ulti lets you w-e-q-aa-r steal dragons and barons with virtually no cont to your team. While he does usually carry by proxy(that damn stun), if you do get fed and pick up an offensive item like liandrias, you'll deal more than significant damage. Though... pretty much anyone whos fed will.
The champions aren't the ones who carry. YOU are the one who carries, and if you know how to, you can do it with any champion that's at least decently balanced for top lane.
I'm guessing you were asking about the champs that have the potential to carry the game and rack up kills rather than be tanky front line players like Maokai. However Like Ekki said, someone who has balanced stats is your best shot really, but you can carry with any champ if you play him/her right. Of course you have to be able to play them to their potential for them to be able to fulfill that carry role.
Depending on what style you of champ you are comfortable with you can look at playing Cassiopeia or Quinn. They have decent to middle range which gives them an advantage over pure melee champs, especially when it comes to last hitting and poking. But you do need to position well because if you mess up your combo or just get caught in a bad place you might get ganked or solo killed because you ventured too close.
You could play Xin top, but I think he works better in the jungle. Then you have Renekton, Irelia, Olaf, Yorick and a lot more. Really depends on you and your style man. If you like being passive in lane but dominating late game, try Nasus. Pretty boring in the laning phase but if you farm/stack your Q well enough, you pretty much don't need to build any damage and just go full tank and still output crazy amounts of damage.

Hope that helps =)
