Corki and Taric:a mid season crisis

I've noticed ever since the beginning of the new meta corki and taric have fallen out of favor, they used to be one of the top picks in ranked and competitive play, now i rarely see taric or corki. Can anyone answer my question of why they are no longer seen bot?

Corki has always been weak due to severe mana issues. He can only work well with Taric (for doubled armor shred) or Soraka, who are both out of favor due to stronger CC support options.

Taric fell out when his 1.5s stun was reduced to a 1.2s stun (at Lv1). Also, Thresh does his job better. So does Nami.

Right it's not that Taric is bad it's just there are other champions atm that do his job better :(

Makes me sad because Taric was my main support,

"Always been weak"? Kitten you weren't around in S2 were you? ;]
Corki's actual issues stem from his ability casting not meshing well with his role as an AD carry and he cannot pull off the nifty build that Ezreal can.

Back in S2 they were both Gods, along with Graves. Now only Ezreal remains that status.

I think Corki's W ability will cost 50 mana in the next patch ;)
Maybe that will fix his Mana problems.

Corki because of mana issues and because the items that work well on him have been nerfed.

Taric because his W has been nerfed into the ground. You need about 300 armor to get the same aura as you could get at level 9 before.

Isn't funny how they nerf Taric for "being broken" as Thresh is lifted onto Taric's old spot of "picked every game."

Oh and his passive nerfs. He used to work great with Triforce - IE build. Triforce has been nerfed and his passive cannot crit anymore

You should give AP Corki a try at mid then.

Alright, about Taric, I think that the continuous nerfs (especially to his w) really lowered his power. His damage potential and armor aura is much weaker. He is still viable but doesn't bring what a Thresh or a Sona brings to a team. Now, I don't know what the deal with Corki is, he is still very stong in my opinion.
