not worth to play anymore. tank items cheap and strong like Frozen Heart,new bruiser item Sundered Sky which gives to any melee champ aatrox passive which, Randuin's Omen got buff again (XD), any lethality item has insane powerspike but usually not for aphelios

I am an ordinary layman who spent an unacceptably long time on this character on this role.
my pick is diamond(low elo)

-adc on toplane kinda weak early on and can lose teams prio on map but it also good option for late game or late mid game.
- Aphelios have enough versality to stay toplane for scale bcs of toplane xp gain and opportunity to farm 10cs/min with platings even if go 0/10 u can stabily scale for late/mid game
-nobody know how to play properly a 1v1s
-huge scope for personal growth

-one of the best late adcs
-can hard beat lane oponent
-can 1sht some topers early on with lethality from e and Crescendum, the Chakram
-can poke to the tilt much of people
-you can be easily underestimated
-can turn a lot early 2v1s
-with good spacing a lot of toplaners turn into whipping dolls

-ur adc lol
-easily fall behind
-usually will be babysitted
-your teammates won't ever trust you
-can be hard make pressure on sidelane
-too much bad match-ups
-psychosis
-mental instability

Blade of the Ruined King strongest 1v1 item but doesnt have crit which is bad for aphelios
Berserker's Greaves huge attack speed allows to kite best dps option from boots
Kraken Slayer - insainly good in almost any 1v1
Lord Dominik's Regards best pen. item bcs of aphelios low hp scaling
Bloodthirster strong dps + sustain option

Tier 2

Immortal Shieldbow decent against burst damage weak later on the game
Bloodthirster strong dps + sustain option

Shield Bash very good with Overheal for lane poke. also it give magic+armor while shield is up. later on the game it will gives u 10 magic res. which is actually a lot if u will keep in my what u can use it with Revitalize Barrier

Conditioning common scale rune good if ur laner is afk
Bone Plating most usual and common rune from whole tree best on laning and usefull later on the game
Overgrowth its just slow scale option which is good with Last Stand
Unflinching works really well after rework

Crescendum, the Chakram oftenly useless ilater ob the lategame so use Crescendum, the Chakram turrets for selfpeeling

Severum, the Scythe Pistol strongest aphelios weapon With decent attackspeed its almost doesnt have any animation and its ignores yasuo and samira wind wall, it is strong combines with other weapons, in late game Severum, the Scythe Pistol q is weaker when ur auotattacks keep it in mind

Gravitum, the Gravity Cannon fcks up half of assassins in game use it with with severum to stay alive

-you can do one auto before Severum, the Scythe Pistol q its nothing new, but u can deal another fast auto if u auto ur enemy before ur Severum, the Scythe Pistol q ends it's very noticeable with higher attack speed

Calibrum, the Sniper Rifle
- Calibrum, the Sniper Rifle Qs can fck up ur attack animation so try to dont use it in melee range.
for auto reset - u need decent amount of attack speed like Berserker's Greaves+w max and use ur Calibrum, the Sniper Rifle q on range of ur auto(can be closer if u have a lot attack speed) and instantly auto ur target so u can deal 1 more auto before it lands and after proc mark with zero delay, or casualy u can hit another target and when hit mark

Infernum, the Flamethrower
-also nothing new auto-q-auto

Gravitum, the Gravity Cannon
-small tip u can q Gravitum, the Gravity Cannon in mid air of auto attack
