League of Legends (LoL) Question: How can I improve my Zed Mechanics?

This is the perfect time to try new champions, Ranked doesn't matter anymore until season 8 start, so you can work on your Zed mechanics on Ranked and don't be afraid.

Usually the best why to improve mechanics is practice, learn from guilds/stearmers/youtubers and get used to the champion himself, try new build (depends on the situations), and try new rune pages and tactics.

In mid season i would recommend to play normal until you feel you good enough for ranked, or play the other ranked option (flex/solo) until you feel good with Zed or you achieve the same league.

Personally,when I try a new champ I always play normal game before ranks.
But been a good Zed require a bit more than 3-4 games and some mecanics

-Farming, Decision making, Rotation, warding, wave managing, itemization, positionning, map awarness, teamworks, match ups, objectif control, splitpush, etc
All these macros are very important to reach higher elo with Zed mecanics isnt enough
-Secondly, u need a LOT of in game practice to realy catch up with ur combos.
Nobody will became good at Zed by looking at stream/youtube vids/guides

The best advice I have for you is: Always have fun when playing ur new champion even if ur losing try to learn from each of ur mistakes. Good luck friend!

So like "orrvaa" said its the perfect time for learning bc of the preseason. But Im sure its better when you try it in some normal games with tryharding because ranked isnt really good at the moment there are too many ppl just doin **** runes. So you wont be able to have a normal game without a kind of troll in it. If you know lots of stuff for Zed just go ahead but if your new i would much rather go into a normal game and try zed if this doesnt work bc hes banned just go blind pick but a tip from me is: if you really want to learn him now you have to spam him i think it wont help you when you just do 3 games per week with zed. Also if your playing: Poke enemys down with your q on Early levels but try to hit the minions and the enemy so you dont miss them. Try to ward your lane( not only the bush next to you). You can get a pink on the riverbush and then always stay on the side of it: Watch out you dont always engage with your W some people will bait you and then you´ll get ganked. Also always try to get some plays so you can learn what Zed is able to do and what not. And ofc shove ur lane and rotate botlane or top if you get a double on bot its often a free first turret and/or a drake: Some builds are good like the Cleaver Stacking but dont forget to take the correct runes. If you are very behind try to go to the sidelanes and farm you back try to assasinate ppl and get back into game. Some Item Tips: Phantom Dancer is an item I honestly like on zed it gives you ad and as which can help you when you fight people.
