Zhonya as Eggnivia?

Hello, I've a little question about Anivia's egg and Zhonya's Hourglass: Sometimes I can use the Zhonya while in the egg but sometimes it just does not work (after pressing 3 200 times). I mean what is the bug? the fact that I can use this or the fact that I can't?
If it's intended, the Zhonya should be a core item on Anivia 2.5 free seconds it's just waow it saved my life more than once.

cuz bug. Bugs are mistakes, therefore they more often don't make sense than that they do.

Ok so I guess that it's supposed to work so the question is why sometimes it does'nt and just trigger at the end of the egg?

It might be because sometimes you press it directly before you are "dead" (->egg) and sometimes you miss the "dead" so that it is too late...
I can't imagine that pressing Zhonia's while being an egg is possible. You can also press TP to another tower or minion in the safe zone slighly before you are dead, so that your TP can't be interrupted by CC. That's an amazing outplay that works quite well if it's timed right.
